Who in their right mind actually cares if their smarter than a fifth grader?  Let’s get this straight, these kids are some of the most annoying kids I’ve ever seen.  I’ve seen the show two times now, and both times, I just wanted to literally get into the damn television screen and choke the heck out of these kids.

They are not smarter, they only know more useless facts that most adults.  And I’ll tell you when they’re smarter than me when they can integrate a few functions, which I can happily do.  Being a Chemical Engineer, oh no did I give away something?  Well, being an engineer, I can honestly tell everyone that these kids aren’t smart, they just memorize the most useless facts in the world.

Tell me the last time when knowing that Columbus sailed the ocean blue in 1492 ever got you a million dollars, the truth is, no one really uses any of these facts.  This is why we let children memorize all these useless facts, and stupid things so that we can get ‘em off our backs and we can go out and grab a beer and watch some friggin football.

So, the next time you watch “Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader“, just turn the channel and don’t even bother, because some of these kids are way too annoying.
