Goodbye Melinda Doolittle

May 16th, 2007 by admin

Well the time has finally come for Melinda to hit the road. I’ve never actually like her voice. Yes, it was strong, but it wasn’t smooth and crisp. She didn’t pronounce words to my liking. In short, Melinda wasn’t good for me. Will she still go on and have a singing career? Maybe. But damn, she can get on my nerve with all that humble crap. She’s in the freakin final three and she keeps on acting like she’s in kindergarten, acting all humble. Stop it! No wonder you didn’t get into the top 2, you freakin’ have no self confidence!

So, take some advice from the millions of people who didn’t vote for you Melinda Doolittle — Get some confidence first!

Akon At Zenclub, Trinidad (Full Video)

May 16th, 2007 by admin

This full video of the singer Akon at Zenclub, Trinidad. The video is of Akon on stage, allegedly doing a sick on stage act with an unwilling 15 year old girl. This particular Youtube Video has been talked about in many media outlets in the 24 hour time span, and has even been talked about on The View just now (I was watching).

I use to think Akon was a little bit above the rest of those damn hip hop guys, but I guess I was wrong. They should kick him off Gwen Stefani’s tour ASAP!

Dreaming of Youtube: Winekone (Tony)

May 16th, 2007 by admin

No matter how you put it, this guy is the most stupid and funniest Directors on Youtube. I love his videos, and the following video in which he dreams about being Avril Lavigne is just so funny. He even sings! This guy is brilliant, and this is exactly why he has so many followers, including “haters”…

Goodbye Ian Ziering and Cheryl Burke

May 16th, 2007 by admin

Despite getting a perfect score with the Elvis impersonation, Ian Ziering and Cheryl Burke was voted off Dancing With The Stars. It seems that Ian doesn’t have the fan base that the other contenders have. Personally I’m still rooting for Laila Ali.

Traveler Promotional Video Preview

May 11th, 2007 by admin

Traveler, the new show from ABC that I was just raving about last night, is going to be a big hit. Here’s the promotional video preview that I forgot to put up. If you didn’t see last night’s preview show, don’t worry, I think they will air it again just before May 30.

Traveler: The New ABC Television Hit

May 10th, 2007 by admin

I was riveted as I watched the advance preview Traveler, and I just couldn’t even blink for one second.  It was that good.  This is so unique in terms of the story line, and how it integrates with our current situation here in The United States.

This is definitely going to be the next blockbuster hit for ABC.  And I can’t wait until May 30 when it finally starts its first episode.  Technically, tonight’s episode was the first episode.  And oh if you missed tonight’s episode, just hope someone had it on TiVo because it was just too damn good to miss.

SYNOPSIS: (via ABC) Jay, Tyler and Will are friends who have spent the last two years in grad school. They are about to depart on a summer trip when a simple prank to rollerblade through one of New York City’s most famous museums makes Jay and Tyler prime suspects in a terrorist bombing that destroys the museum seconds later. Hopeful that Will can help clear up this misunderstanding, they learn he’s been missing since the explosion and think he may be dead. They’re unable to turn to authorities when they realize they can’t prove Will even exists. In every photo from the past two years, he has managed to block his face.

Who will believe them? Friends, family, lovers? The boys are pawns in a conspiracy that will take years to unravel, and the government may not have their best interests at heart. Their friendship will be tested like never before as they try to uncover the truth, while avoiding detection of not only the FBI, but everyone in America who has seen their faces on TV as suspects in the bombing.

What’s so great about the show is the way it flashes back to the two years that the three friends were together.  It looks to me like something in the footsteps of “Lost”, and you just get the sense that this is going to be an evening action soap opera that you can’t miss.

It’s official, I’m the newest fan of Traveler!

Some Damn Good Chicken Dumplings

May 10th, 2007 by admin

I’m not sure where to put this, but since this is the only blog I have, and I need a way to document my finds here on the web, I thought I’d also give everyone else a heads up on this great recipe that I saw a while back.   The recipe is Asian Chicken-N-Dumplings Five-Spice Chicken Noodle and Shiitake-Dumplings by my favorite chef Ming Tsai.  His fusion of East and West cooking is some of the best tasting food I’ve ever tasted.

So, if you want some really good home cooking, go here and follow the recipe to get some kick ass dumplings for your sweet honey.

Are You Smarter Than A Fifth Grader?

May 10th, 2007 by admin

Who in their right mind actually cares if their smarter than a fifth grader?  Let’s get this straight, these kids are some of the most annoying kids I’ve ever seen.  I’ve seen the show two times now, and both times, I just wanted to literally get into the damn television screen and choke the heck out of these kids.

They are not smarter, they only know more useless facts that most adults.  And I’ll tell you when they’re smarter than me when they can integrate a few functions, which I can happily do.  Being a Chemical Engineer, oh no did I give away something?  Well, being an engineer, I can honestly tell everyone that these kids aren’t smart, they just memorize the most useless facts in the world.
