This is what did it for me. The moment I saw this performance, my heart just came out and forever became a fan of Kelly! She’s beautiful, she’s a true Idol. Forever Kelly baby! The finals of the very first American Idol was just so special, and I can’t think of anyone else to have made it other than Kelly. She was the perfect person at the right time… this was truly history in the making.

I’m just being nostalgic today, and remembering the very first audition of Kelly Clarkson. She’s so freakin a celebrity even before she became The AMERICAN IDOL. She’s got spunk, and you could already tell she was comfortable in the limelight!
